The disassembly and assembly steps of the front shock absorber of Volkswagen Jetta are as follows:
1. First remove the screw cap at the top of the shock absorber
2. Pull out the shock absorber spring in the shock absorber
3. Find a No. 12 screw rod to lengthen it (enough to be as long as the shock absorber), and put one side of the square head into the shock absorber to the lowest end.
4. Fix the shock absorber upside down and remove the inner hexagonal screw at the bottom of the shock absorber
5. Separate the inner and outer cylinders of the shock absorber
6. Use a screwdriver to lift the leather seal at the top of the shock absorber outer cylinder, then remove the lower circlip, and finally remove the shock absorber oil seal and replace it.
Reorganize, add shock absorber oil after the shock absorber is reorganized. The amount of addition is generally to press the shock absorber inner cylinder to the lowest level, and start adding oil until the oil level reaches a distance of about 10 cm from the shock absorber inner cylinder. Finally, pull out the shock absorber inner cylinder and tighten the screw at the top. Load into the car.
