The disassembly and assembly steps of the front shock absorber of Volkswagen Jetta are as follows;
1. Remove the top screw cap of the shock absorber first,
2. Pull out the shock absorber spring from the shock absorber,
3. Find a No. 12 screw rod to lengthen it (enough to be as long as the shock absorber), and put one side of the square head into the shock absorber to the lowest end.
4. Fix the shock absorber upside down, and remove the inner hexagonal screw at the bottom of the shock absorber.
5. Separate the inner and outer cylinders of the shock absorber
6. Use a screwdriver to lift the leather seal on the top of the outer cylinder of the shock absorber, remove the circlip below, and replace the shock absorber oil seal.
Reorganize, add damping oil after the shock absorber is reorganized. The amount added is generally to press the damping inner cylinder to the lowest level, and start refueling until the oil level is about 10 cm away from the damping inner cylinder. Finally, pull out the shock-absorbing inner tube and tighten the top screw. Install into the vehicle.
