Toyota Corolla shock absorber replacement operation:
The tools you need to prepare are as follows: the original car wheel sleeve, jack, hook for removing the tyre cover, 16mm sleeve with bent rod, 16mm open end wrench or box wrench or adjustable wrench, 5mm open end wrench, straight-out tool. Then began to replace the shock absorber.
1. Park the car on a flat ground and put on the handbrake, put it in first gear. Use a small hook to remove the tire trim cap. Use the original car to remove the wheel sleeve to loosen the fixing bolts, jack up the rear wheel, remove the wheel and place the wheel under the body to ensure safety.
2. Remove the lower fixed point of the shock absorber with a 16mm sleeve with a bent rod and a 16mm open-end wrench. Use a 16mm sleeve with a bent rod to remove the fixed point of the viewer. The wheel sleeve can be used as an afterburner. If the screw is too tight due to rust, you can spray a little anti-rust agent before loosening it. Then you can remove the shock absorber.
3. When replacing the new shock absorber, compress the shock absorber properly, install the fixing bolts first, and then stretch the shock absorber to the two fixing bolts at the installation point. Note that the upper and lower installation points must be tightened with more force.
