The shock absorber can make the vehicle run smoothly, and the shock absorber has the function of buffering vibration. If there is no shock absorber in the suspension, the car will run unevenly and shake. Nowadays, the shock absorbers of many automobiles are mostly hydraulic shock absorbers. The principle is to fill a cylinder with small holes drilled and equipped with pistons with pressure oil. When the spring vibrates, the oil will be forced to flow through the small holes, thus limiting the effect. The size of the hole diameter determines the size of the restriction. If the diameter of the small hole is smaller, there is a stronger restriction, and the stability of the car will be higher; on the contrary, the car ride will be more comfortable. When designing the size of the small hole diameter, both stability and comfort should be taken into consideration.
